Wind in the Willows 2
The children have had great fun in co-writing and preparing for our end of term entertainment. We chose to focus on the comparison between the lives of the imagined characters in Wind in the Willows and their real life counterparts - creating lyrics, scripts, playing music, singing opera (kind of - Paul McCartney's Frog Chorus).
One of the children had the super idea of doing interviews between the real and imagined animals which led to a mad scramble to collect different style microphones - all freely chosen (and previously unused - for those who can spot the toilet brush)!
We were able to use the nursery to accomodate our audience of parents and siblings. It was a lovely way to end our Spring term. Just look at the concentration and those smiles of achievement!
