Creation of the light bulb took 1000 steps

Some of the children have really taken to working with the circuit material. So, the Happy Birthday tune has made us all jump on occassion, the buzzer has woken us up and the fan has caused endless amazement. No more. It was inevitable. The fan flew. Down the back of the radiator. No amount of fishing has been able to catch it (although it has been a reminder that the practical life activity of dusting in hidden corners is still a noble thing to be done).

So the challenge has been to create a new one. This is attempt 2 - made from paper, sellotape and a bit of plasticine to give it weight. We haven't got to the flying stage - yet. And the duster can rest easy for a little while longer at least.
